(Columbidae; Ϯ White-faced Cuckoo Dove T. manadensis) Genus Turacus Cuvier, 1800, turaco; Gr. οινας oinas, οιναδος oinados pigeon; “Le second genre de Macropygieæ est TURACŒNA, Bp., ainsi composé par moi pour rappeler une forte ressemblance avec les Touracos. Il est constitué par deux espèces bien connues et bien figurées, les Col. manadensis, Quoy et Gaim., de Célèbes, à masque blanc et plumage vert doré; et Col. modesta, Temm., de Timor, à plumage noirâtre, vert sur le haut du dos seulement.” (Bonaparte 1854); "*52.
