Africa occid. 1. * BUCCO calvus, Mus. Lugd. an Lafresn? (Megalaima calva? Gr.) ex Ashantea. Long. 6-poll: fuliginoso-cinereus; capite cum genis implume: penicillis setarum rigidarum duobus rufescentium ad rostri latera, duobus hinc inde mandibulae, altero subtus antrorsum verso.
