Myrmothera guttata Vieillot, ca. 1825.   ... We take great pleasure in naming this genus after Morton and Phyllis Isler in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the knowledge of the taxonomy and systematics of Neotropical birds, especially antbirds of the family Thamnophilidae.
