(Cisticolidae; Ϯ Bleating Camaroptera C. brachyura) Gr. καμαρα kamara arch; πτερον pteron wing; "26. Camaroptera olivacea n. gen. et sp. ... Char. generis. Alæ fornicatæ, breves; tantum basim caudæ tegunt, pennis 1—3 gradatis, 4 = 5, 2 < 10. Rostrum elongatum, subcurvatum, compressum, vibrissis nullis. Nares nudæ, majores, lamina majore, fornicata, semitectæ. Cauda brevis, subæqualis. Tarsus longior, scutatus; digiti laterales æquales. Affinis Malurinis. Huc quoque Sylvia brevicaudata Crzm.
