DEFINITIONS

ALECTRURUS
(Tyrannidae; Ϯ Cock-tailed Tyrant A. tricolor) Gr. αλεκτρυων  alektruōn, αλεκτρυονος alektruonos  cockerel; ουρα oura  tail; "GALLITE, Alectrurus.  Bec glabre et déprimé à la base, conico-convexe, crochu à la pointe; mandibule inférieure droite. — Queue comprimée, susceptible de rester relevée.   Esp. nouvelles.
