(Campephagidae; Ϯ Blue Cuckooshrike C. azureus) Gr. κυανος kuanos dark-blue; genus Graucalas Cuvier, 1816, cuckooshrike; "Zu Ceblepyris azurea: Cammafl. Du Chaillu. Cass. l. c. p. 52. Ich beschreibe: Pulchre azureus, nitore nonnullo virescente; pileo, capitis lateribus, gutture et pectore intensius tinctis; mento nigro; tectricibus alae late azureo-marginatis; remigum et rectricum mediarum marginibus caerulescentibus. Long. rostr. a fr. 7"'; tars. 8"'. Prachtvoll gefärbte, wenigst typische Art. Die remig. tertiar. des alten Männchens zeigen kein Weiss. Schnabel klein, zierlich, stark gekielt. Schwanz kurz. Vierte Schwungfeder am längsten, dritte und füufte etwas kürzer und gleichlang; zweite halbmal so lang als die erste. Mindestens zu subgenerischer Sonderung auffordernd Cyanograucalus nob."
