(Tyrannidae; Ϯ Pale-tipped Tyrannulet I. caudata) Enriqueta Inez Cherrie (1898-1943) daughter of US ornithologist George Cherrie; "Inezia genus novum. Type Capsiempis caudata Salvin. Superficially resembling the genus Capsiempis, but with the tarsal envelope of a distinct type, being taxaspidean. ... The rictal bristles are smaller and softer than in Capsiempis. ... Named after my daughter Enriqueta Inez Cherrie, who first saw the light of day in the region where her father met with Inezia" (Cherrie 1909); "Inezia CHERRIE, Mus. Brookl. Inst., Sci. Bull., 1, p. 390, 1909—type by orig. desig. Capsiempis caudata SALVIN." (Hellmayr, 1927, Cat. Birds Americas, Pt. V, p. 389).
